Ikon Pass Niseko 2023

If you are planning to travel to Niseko for a winter vacation the Ikon pass is definitely worth considering. The Ikon pass is essentially a bundle offering of passes for ski resorts all across the world and is excellent value especially for those who are based in North America. If you are based in Australia or New Zealand the Ikon pass also offers great value, particularly if you ski at Thredbo or Mount Buller in Oz or any of the NZ SKI resorts in NZ.

So what's on offer? The most important thing you need to know is that there are 7 days of lift passes at Niseko United which includes Hirafu, Hanazono, Niseko Village and Annupuri (7 days combined). Plus if you are travelling to Niseko from Australia or New Zealand your ikon pass will be good for the southern hemi winter 2022 and 2023 !

If you're coming from North America and have an Ikon pass you've got it made with unlimited skiing at some of the best resorts in the country including Palisades Tahoe, Steam Boat, Copper Mountain Resort and many more. Plus 7 you get days at legendary destination such as Jackson, Revelstoke BC, Brighton, Red Mountain and more.

If all this wasn't enough to get you planning the ultimate ski resort tour itinerary the Ikon Pass is also good for 7 days in Europe at Zermatt or Chamonix and if you're really adventurous Valle Nevado in Chile has 7 days for the taking too. The Ikon Pass goes for $1,179 USD alternatively the Icon Base Pass offers less days at a lower rate.

Alternatives - An alternative to the Ikon pass is the Epic Pass which if you are based in North America or Australia is pretty epic! This will give you unlimited access to more of North America's best including Vail, Breckenridge, Whistler Blackcomb, Park City and many more. It also gives Australian skiers unlimited winter 2023 access to Perisher and Hotham and Falls Creek.

Unfortunately the Epic Pass doesn't cover any Niseko Resorts but it does give you 5 days on the hill at nearby Rusutsu which is an increasingly popular field less than an hours drive from Hirafu. If you are staying in one of our excellent resort homes or town houses that come with a van (check these out here) you could certainly put it to use.

If you'd like to know more about the lift pass options and ski packages Holiday Niseko can arrange please feel free to contact us anytime. ([email protected]).
